Eric Carle

The world has lost yet another brilliant artist. Eric Carle passed away at the age of 91. Carle's art was very influential to me, his use of color and texture shaped my young mind and is one of the reasons I work so heavily in bright/rainbow patterns.

Today seemed like a fitting day to do a tribute in the library.
